Project Introduction

Tri Star Electric is privileged to have worked with one of the most successful international restaurant chains known not just for its superb food but also for its one-of-a-kind brand of dining entertainment.

Benihana is the largest and fastest-growing Japanese-themed restaurant in the world. Founded in 1964, Benihana’s vision is to provide communal dining and entertainment as guests sit around a hibachi grill while a world-class chef cooks in front of them. This unique vision has catapulted the restaurant into one of the premier dining venues in the world.

Tri Star Electric’s partnership with Benihana involved a full remodel of the company’s New York City restaurant and sushi bar. Our services included the installation of new electrical wiring, electrical service panel, and an array of energy-efficient, decorative lights that suited the restaurant’s contemporary Asian design. We also mounted a more efficient fire alarm system in addition to maximum-security outlets and decorative receptacles from Leviton.

In 2002, Benihana chose Tri Star Electric to renovate the company’s New York City restaurant’s electrical systems.

Benihana is located down the busy stretch of West 56th Street in New York City.
